What We Do

Ram Jack is dedicated to providing reliable foundation solutions using both helical and driven steel piles.

Grain Bin Foundation Failure and Recovery

MFA Incorporated discovered that the soil beneath one of their steel grain bins was insufficient to support the weight.

Due to non-compacted soil, one side of the 50-foot diameter grain bin had started settling, compromising its structural integrity and functionality.  In order to continue operations, the grain bin had to be stabilized, so Ram Jack of Mid Missouri was called in.  Working alongside the engineer for the project, a repair plan was designed that incorporated both helical piles and wide flange beams to stabilize the sinking bin.  For optimal stabilization, every six feet, a wide flange beam would be attached to the grain bin and then supported by a total of 19 helical piles.  Once the job was successfully completed, the steel bin had been fully stabilized and MFA Incorporated was thoroughly satisfied.

The process is not a fast or simple one, but for those who are willing to meet the requirements, owning or managing a Ram Jack© business is a worthwhile opportunity.
